the new elements in the ground help with the alien atmosphere. You mentioned something about the objects morphing from the ground, so it will be interesting to see how you treat your layers. you might still need some free elements?
Wow. Lots of possibilities for motion here. I think it'd be a good idea for you to maybe consider all of the possibilities things can come out of the ground. Either stretching, or breaking apart, even branching out. Either way, i think you handled the issue of you image being centralized very well.
