Write Up and .swf Files

Action Script Lesson:

Action Script Write Up:
For the actionscript lessons I tried to keep it simple due to some tight time constrictions with NPDA. Overall the whole experience was challenging since I don't know a lot about action scripting yet but what I did achieve made me very happy at least. I'm going to revise these lessons later on to improve on my the animations. The shit is just tricky about certain functions.

Revised(a little) Digiscape:
Animation: Full Size

I think you could cut the last frame with just the little dudes pulsing. I was waiting for something new to happen and it didn't. It is a strong piece without the repeated pulsing at the end. I like it, but just shorten the time frame on that part. Cool though. The shadows help alot and work well! :0

I think your tweening for the digiscape still needs some work. It's a bit fast at points and seems jumpy. But overall it's definitely getting there.

The actionscript project is cool. Anytime there's a piece where you cant put your mouse on it it drives me crazy, but in a good way.

I can dig it.

It seems a little random and scrambled but i like the layers of things that happen to the individual spots.

Interesting actionscript project. Nice sense of color as well in it. The little circle on the bottom right is really hard to click for some reason. Was that intentional? If not, you could make it larger upon rollover with the _xscale and _yscale properties.

Your idea is carried out better on this iteration of your digiscape. I do feel however that the shadows and the sun could still be slowed down a tad. At the moment, it rushes by pretty quickly. Maybe it is because i'm sleepy, but the number of elements (sun, shadows) introduced, and the speed at which they pass does feel a bit rushed.

It's not a problem if that's what you're going for, but I do feel that your digiscape coud benefit from extending the frames in the shadow animation.

Dude your digi scape is better it just needs to get drunk with me some weekend and slow down.
in a simply academic and metaphoric way.

Mainly that sun-bot that dude is still cruising past the stage.

Your action script is working.
That grey oval is a punk though... covering everyone up with his mass.

you made me belive

I still want to see some more revisions to your digiscape. The transitioning of different motions is a bit jagged. Maybe you should refine your easing a bit more. The pulsating characters are a nice touch.
